Ayurvedic Health Consultations

Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of continuously practiced medicine that originated in India, often referred to as the sister science of yoga. The literal translation of Ayurveda is “the science of life”. Ayurveda looks to identify the root cause of disease and/or imbalance and treat the cause, rather than the symptom(s), to restore balance and optimal health. Ayurveda focuses on the individual and wellness plans are created after obtaining an in-depth understanding of your individual constitution and current emotional and physical stressors. You will be empowered to be an active participant in your own health journey.

Common reasons that individuals choose Ayurvedic consultation include:

  • Stress reduction
  • Anxiety
  • Supporting the immune system
  • Improving diet
  • Digestive issues
  • Fatigue
  • Improved sleep
  • Weight loss
  • Mental and emotional issues
  • Tried many other approaches to improving health with limited success
"Because we cannot scrub our inner body we need to learn a few skills to help cleanse our tissues, organs, and mind. This is the art of Ayurveda."
—Sebastian Pole

75-minute initial consultation: $150.00

This is where your journey into Ayurveda begins! You will receive an in-depth questionnaire to complete and return before our initial meeting. From there, we will meet, and I will conduct an in-depth review of your health history, lifestyle, movement practices, culinary habits, and other factors that may be contributing to your current physical and/or mental health. Following that meeting, you will receive a customized wellness plan including diet, self-care, and lifestyle recommendations developed to empower you to bring yourself into balance considering the season and your current stage of life. Because I am a certified Stress Management Yoga Teacher, an Ayurvedic Yoga Instructor, and Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, if appropriate and supportive, recommendations may also include education about trauma, stress management techniques, dosha-balancing yoga forms, breathing practices and meditation techniques.
